The NCBA T20 Cricket Tournament 2020 event is turning up to be unpredictable and exciting for all. With a little cloud cover and high humidity levels the players once again took to the fields to display their talents.

Having won the Toss , CG elected to field on their home turf. A steady start by the visitors PCC saw them lose their first wicket at 41 , after which wickets started tumbling at quick and regular intervals, finishing with a total of 104 all out with Imran Qazi top scoring at 42runs. Good disciplined bowling by CG , giving away very little, with spells from former Kenya captain Jimmy Kamande 4 overs 15 runs 2 wicket and Haraj Sohal 4 overs 27 runs 3 wickets. In the second innings , The Pakistanis came out with all guns blazing determined to hold on to the hope of defending their low total and defend they did.

CG only managed 84 before being dismissed, Irfan Qureshi 4 overs 26 runs 3 wickets and Qaiser Malik 4 overs 13 runs 3 wickets were among the top wickets takers.Man of the Match Imran Qazi

High humidity levels did not deter the players from giving the audiences another tight low scoring game. Simba winning the toss elected to have a bowl , putting up a valiant effort to restrict MSC A to 124/6 in their 20 overs, veteran player Satpal Singh still showing everyone how things are done with a good spell of 4 overs 23 runs 2 wickets. An early scare for MSC A when Sagar Karia was dismissed in the first over, but debutant Abraham Vadada(38 runs) and Puru Sharma (34 runs) steadied the innings. When Simba attempted to chase down the target , they were met with tight lines from 3 pacers and 3 spinners who fought well to keep the batsmen at bay, restricting them to 113/7 in the 20 overs. Even an inspiring display of boundary hitting by Harkrishan Singh (39runs) that at one point threatened to undo all the hard work of the MSC A bowlers. Pick of the bowlers , former Kenya Captain Shem Ngoche 4 over 26 runs 4 wickets. Man of the Match : Shem Ngoche

After a dream start by the youngster MSC B last weekend , they were psyched up to battle their formidable opponents BSC who put them in to bat having won the toss. A good start by the opening pair of Khush Shah 51 runs and Karan Shah 31runs, added with a perfect example of pinch hitting by their captain Mehdi Syed 35 runs from 12 balls…giving them a good total of 141/6. During the BSC innings , even though the youngsters managed to take two quick wickets , they were reminded by the Kenya National Player Alex Obanda that they still have a lot to learn. He scored a blistering 95 runs from 43 balls getting caught on the boundary as he tried to hit a six to finish the game with his century. An awesome display of flawless powerful batting was a treat to all spectators as BSC reached their target in the 13th over for the loss of 4 wickets. The MSC B bowlers did not have much to show on their bowling card but were highly praised by their opponents for their overall efforts. Man of the Match : Alex Obanda
